Rules and guidelines for using Fantasy Squad
These terms and conditions ("Terms of Use") govern the access and use of the Fantasy Squad application and website (collectively defined as "Platform" or "Services"). Access to the Platform, even if occasional, constitutes full acceptance of these Terms.
Fantasy Squad reserves the right to modify or update, in whole or in part and at any time, these Terms of Use by publishing the new version. Such changes will take effect only after their publication. The User is invited to regularly consult this section to stay updated on the conditions of use.
Fantasy Squad offers an ecosystem dedicated to fantasy football that includes: • League Management: Creation and participation in fantasy football tournaments through teams composed of real football players. • Editorial Content: Blogs, auction guides, rankings, and technical insights related to the world of football. • Statistics: Consultation of data, votes, and sports performance. Services are provided, in the standard version, free of charge and may include advertising banners.
The User can participate in two types of game groups: • Public Leagues: Managed according to the standard parameters of the Platform and open to all registered Users. • Private Leagues: Created and managed by a "League Administrator". These leagues are regulated exclusively by the participating Users; therefore, Fantasy Squad is not responsible for their operation, admission requirements, or any private agreements/prizes between participants.
To take advantage of the gaming features, registration of a personal account ("Account") is required. • Age limits: Use of the Platform is permitted for individuals who have reached the age of 13. For minor Users, use is subject to the consent of a parent or legal guardian. • Responsibility: The User is solely responsible for the secrecy of their access credentials and the activities carried out through their Account.
Fantasy Squad has no constant preventive control over all content, messages, or data uploaded or shared by Users within the Leagues. • Disclaimer: The Platform cannot be held responsible for the content published by Users or for the sharing of personal data of third parties by them. • Content Removal: If unlawful conduct or conduct contrary to good customs is reported, Fantasy Squad reserves the right to conduct investigations and, if necessary, promptly remove content considered offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, vulgar, pornographic, obscene, or otherwise illegal. • Measures: In case of serious violations, the Platform reserves the right to suspend or delete the Account of the author of the conduct.
All original content (graphics, logos, editorial articles, ranking algorithms, and software) is the property of Fantasy Squad. • Factual Data: Names of football players, teams, and sports results are considered public domain data and are used purely for informational purposes. • Commercial Use: Use of the Platform is permitted exclusively for personal and recreational purposes. It is strictly forbidden to copy, sell, or distribute statistics, screenshots, or data generated by the app for commercial or profit purposes without written authorization.
The Services are provided "as is". Fantasy Squad does not guarantee the absence of technical errors or service interruptions due to force majeure or connection problems. Furthermore, it assumes no responsibility for the accuracy or updating of votes and statistics, nor for any malfunctions resulting from such inaccuracies.
The processing of data (email, nickname, game statistics) takes place in compliance with current legislation. For details on processing methods, please refer to the Platform's Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by European law. For any dispute regarding the interpretation or execution of the contract, the court provided for by consumer protection legislation or, in its absence, the User's place of residence shall have jurisdiction.
Users may upload images (such as team logos) to the Platform in private leagues. • Warranty: By uploading an image, the User warrants that they hold all necessary rights to it and that it does not infringe any third-party rights (including copyright and trademarks) and does not contain unlawful, offensive, discriminatory, vulgar, pornographic, obscene or otherwise inappropriate content. • Responsibility: The User is solely and fully responsible for any image they upload. Fantasy Squad does not perform constant preventive review of uploaded images. • Automated screening: Uploads may be automatically screened and rejected by content-moderation systems. • Removal and measures: Fantasy Squad may remove any uploaded image at its sole discretion and without notice, and may suspend or delete the Account in case of violations. Uploaded images can be reported by other Users. • Record keeping: Fantasy Squad keeps a record of image uploads (user, team and time) for legal and security purposes.
