    Votes & Bonus Points

How your players earn points each matchday

    The Vote

After each real-world match, every player who played receives a Vote — a numerical rating sourced from official sports journalism. This vote reflects overall match performance and forms the base of each player's fantasy score.

    Vote scale guide

    8.5–10
Outstanding. Among the very best on the pitch — decisive and dominant.
    7–8
Excellent. Controlled play, created clear chances or defensive solidity.
    6–6.5
Average. Did the job without standing out. 6 is the passing baseline.
    5–5.5
Below average. 5.5 is below the passing threshold — errors or limited impact.
    4–4.5
Poor. Significant mistakes or very limited contribution to the match.
    < 4
Very poor. Costly errors or sent off early — a serious drag on your score.
Players who didn't play (substitutes who never entered, injured, suspended) receive a default "no-play" vote configured per federation — typically 6.All votes update in real time during and immediately after matches, so your team's score evolves as live games progress.

When a Player Gets a Vote

Not every appearance is rated. A player receives a vote — and only then contributes points to your team — when at least one of these is true:

10 minutes or more on the pitch

Any player who spends at least 10 minutes in the match is rated normally, whether they started or came off the bench.

A relevant action, at any minute

A single decisive event earns a vote no matter how short the appearance: a goal, an assist, a yellow or red card, a penalty scored, missed or saved, an own goal, and — for goalkeepers — a clean sheet or a goal conceded.

A starter while the match is still live

A player in the starting eleven who is still on the pitch is rated from the opening minutes: for the first few minutes they carry a provisional 6, replaced by the real vote as the match unfolds.

A substitute who plays less than 10 minutes without any relevant action stays unrated — shown as “nr” on the player card — and counts as not having played, so your federation’s substitution rules can bring in a bench player instead.

    Positive Bonuses

On top of the base Vote, players earn or lose Bonus points for specific on-field actions. Bonuses are grouped by action type — the exact values are fully configurable per federation:

    EventBonus
    Goal+3
    Assist+1
    Clean Sheet (GK)+1
    Penalty Saved (GK)+3
    MVP / Best Player+varies

    Negative Bonuses

    EventMalus
    Yellow Card-0.5
    Red Card-1
    Own Goal-2
    Penalty Conceded-0.5
    Penalty Missed-3
    Goal Conceded (GK)-1

    Final Score Calculation

Player Score = Vote + All Bonuses

    Example

    Example: a player gets a 7 vote, scores a goal (+3) and gets a yellow card (−0.5). Final score: 7 + 3 − 0.5 = 9.5

    Your Team Score

Your team's weekly score is the sum of all 11 starting players' individual scores. If a player didn't play, substitution rules can automatically replace them with a bench player — depending on your federation's configured substitution settings.

    Fully Configurable

You can personalize all bonus values freely. Federation admins can set any bonus amount, use different goal values per role, enable or disable specific bonuses, and configure the MVP award. The defaults shown here are just starting points.

    Real-Time Score Updates

Fantasy Squad updates all scores in real time as matches progress. When your striker scores in the 75th minute, your team's score updates immediately — no waiting, no refreshing. Watch your weekly matchup score change live as Sunday's games unfold.

    A note on Player Values

Price is the standard value in federations with a free transfer market (single player availability per team). Market Value is used in auction-based competitions. The Auction is typically the initial market at the start of a season — all federation types and market combinations are supported.
