What is Fantasy Squad?
Build your squad, name your eleven, and manage your way to the top
You’re the Manager
Fantasy Squad puts you in the dugout. You don’t just watch football — you own a club. Pick a squad of real professional players, name your starting eleven every matchday, and score points based on how those players actually perform on the pitch. Every assist, goal, clean sheet, and card counts. Beat your rivals week by week and leave your mark on the standings.
How It Works — Step by Step
1. Join a Federation
A Federation is your private competition hub, created and managed by an admin. Every federation has its own rules, competitions, and optionally a transfer market. You join by invitation — no strangers, just your crew.
2. Assemble Your Squad
Through an auction or from the transfer market, you build a squad of real football players — typically 20–25, spread across all four positions: Goalkeepers, Defenders, Midfielders, and Forwards.
3. Name Your Starting Eleven
Every matchday, select your starting 11 and choose a formation. Submit before the deadline — once the first ball is kicked, the window closes. Your tactical read of the fixture matters.
4. Earn Points
Your players earn and lose points based on real-world performance. Goals, assists, clean sheets, yellow cards — everything translates directly to your score. Your total is the sum of all 11 starters.
5. Go Head-to-Head
Every matchday your team faces a rival. More fantasy points means victory. In a League format, results accumulate across the full season to crown the champion. In cup formats, eliminations add real pressure.
6. Manage Your Transfer Window
In Market federations, buy and sell players during transfer windows. Track injuries, suspensions, and fixture difficulties to keep your squad sharp. The best managers always adapt.
Your Squad
You need cover across all four positions. Each role scores differently — a goalkeeper’s clean sheet is worth as much as an outfield assist:
Matchday
- •Matchdays follow the real football calendar — your fantasy scores update live as fixtures are played.
- •Submit your lineup before the deadline — typically the scheduled start time of the first match of the matchweek.
- •Miss the deadline? Your last submitted lineup plays out by default.
- •Automatic substitutions can step in for non-playing starters if your federation has them enabled.
The Season
A Fantasy Squad season runs in sync with the real football calendar. When it ends, titles and prizes are awarded — League champion, Cup winner, and any custom competitions your admin has set up. All history is immortalised in your federation’s Hall of Fame.
